 Beginning November 2, United Way will again provide emergency heating assistance to area residents who qualify. Help saupport this valuable program by counting your coins into United Way's HEAT CARLISLE account (this account also accepts paper money).

WANTED: YOUNG LEADERS

GIVE: If you are 40 or younger and give at least $250 to United Way of Carlisle & Cumberland County, stand up and be recognized as a member of our Young Leaders' Society (YLS). Check the appropiate box on your pledge form or contact holly@carlisleunitedway.org.

 

ADVOCATE: Tell your friends and co-workers about YLS. YLS provides social, networking, educational, and professional development opportunities. YLS provides you the chance to change our community through volunteerism. Mindy_Loftus_YLS_section.jpg

 

VOLUNTEER: Through YLS, you can volunteer in the community AND have the chance to influence the young leaders' programs. The YLS committee meets just once every 4-6 weeks for one hour. Committee members plan and coordinate YLS activities such as social gatherings and programming. Attend a committee meeting and help develop the future of YLS.
