Join us for our Annual Evening for the Children Gala

Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Hotel Carlisle beginning at 6:00PM.

Proceeds from this event will provide scholarships to children who need a safe and structured place to be over the summer months.

On February 16, between 11AM and 10PM, when you eat at Chili's Carlisle (2 Houser Lane), Chili's will donate 10% of sales to United Way of Carlisle & Cumberland County.

Since launching this program on November 2, United Way has provided funds for emergency heating assistance to nearly 20 families, helping them to maintain heat in their homes. To ensure this program remains available through the 2010 heating season, we need your help. You can support this program by counting your spare change at any Metro Bank, Magic Money Machine. Deposit your counted coin in United Way's HEAT CARLISLE account (paper money accepted too). It may cost up to $300 for just one family to maintain heat in their home.

COMMUNITY SERVICES - Heating Coalition

Throughout the heating season (November 2 through April or while funds are available) United Way of Carlisle & Cumberland County provides emergency heating assistance to for those who qualify. United Way also manages the UGI Operation Share program throughtout the year.

With generous support from individuals, community organizations and through the Coins for Caring program, United Way has raised $7751.90 to support this effort. To date, we have provided emergency heating assistance to help 36 families maintain heat in their homes. We will continue to help those who qualify through April or until our money is exhausted. Donors can help support the heating assistance program through Coins for Caring. Count your coins at any Metro Bank agic Money Machine. Deposit all or a portion of your counted coins into United Way's HEAT CARLISLE account. United Way will use your money to help families stay a little warmer this heating season.
