HEAT CARLISLE.

Since launching this program on November 2, United Way has provided funds for emergency heating assistance to nearly 52 families, helping them to maintain heat in their homes. To ensure this program remains available through the 2010 heating season, we need your help.

You can support this program by counting your spare change at any Metro Bank, Magic Money Machine.  Deposit your counted coin in United Way's HEAT CARLISLE account (paper money accepted too).  It may cost up to $300 for just one family to maintain heat in their home.

Visit any Metro Bank location and help families stay a little warmer this heating season.  Find a Metro Bank location convenient to you or read the full press release.

 SUCCESS BY 6
What is Success By 6?

  • Success By 6 is a national, community-based initiative created in 1988 by the United Way of America to help children ages six and under receive some of the basic building blocks of life they may otherwise go without.

The goal is to help all children receive the type of education, health care, and social & emotional development they need for a successful time.

    Help us support early learning:

82.4% of Cumberland County's regulated child care centers participate in Keystone STARS.
26.3% of our country's children live in low income households.
